Today's plant of the day is Hosta!

Hostas are an amazing, easy to grow perennial that thrive in shade. Plant your hostas after the last frost and watch them flourish in the summer as they grow beautiful, bushy, blue leaves. Make sure to take precaution in relation to pests as you may find snails and slugs have had a nibble on the leaves over the night!

Give them plenty of water and keep them in a slightly shaded position. Their shade preference makes them ideal next to trees or taller plants in your garden. Set your hostas up this spring by visiting us here at The Plant Market.
