Today's plant of the day is Sedum!

Strong basal branching perennials formed of short stout green stems with ovate, fleshy green, flushed pink leaves. From July to October they bear large dense clusters of small star shaped green-yellow flowers.

With their unique look, sedums are a must have in your garden this summer. They make spectacular border plants and are a great pick for around trees with large root systems that other plants struggle to thrive in.
